Imaging Biosecurity

Imaging Biosecurity (2007-2009) considers efforts to prevent, monitor or address the introduction and spread of invasive species in New Zealand and to minimise their ecological effects. It includes two extended case studies, focusing on the invasive alga, didymo, and the pest fish, the koi carp.

All images are colour or monochrome pigment prints, dimensions varying from 30 x 40 cm to 40 x 60 cm.

Imaging Biosecurity is a sub-project of Bio Borders.
